CTPHQ is tendering for the provision of a storage, maintenance and deployment framework for the NBA.

The Counter Terrorism Policing Headquarters (CTPHQ) is seeking a contractor to provide storage, maintenance, and deployment services for the National Barrier Asset (NBA) framework. The initial contract term is 36 months, with a possibility of extension for up to 48 months. The NBA consists of vehicle security barriers and protective fencing used to prevent or mitigate vehicle-borne terrorist attacks against the public at accessible locations or venues. The demand for NBA protection has grown to include various temporary events, and the National Vehicle Threat Mitigation Unit (NVTMU) oversees the NBA and will collaborate with the chosen contractor to ensure operational requirements are met. Interested parties can attend a briefing by CTPHQ on June 29, 2023, and should register their details, including name, role, email address, telephone number, and company, with the CTPHQ.
